The book is bilingual and includes all the cat cafes on this blog that are still currently in business. At my favorite cafes, I’ve done interviews and included more detailed information about some of the cats. The cafes all have star ratings and are divided up by type so readers can easily find the cafe they want to go to.

This is a relatively new cat cafe in Kaohsiung, which just opened a year ago. They also have a branch in Tainan. The cafe is clean and brightly lit and has five cats and one dog. The cats are all friendly, the dog only sometimes is; he doesn’t seem very happy about spending so much time around cats. The cafe is on two floors. There’s plenty of seating and free wifi. 這間貓咖啡在高雄市新的, 一年前開業. 他們還有一間在台南. 咖啡館很乾淨很亮. 他們有5隻貓, 一隻狗. 貓都比較輕鬆, 狗有時候會兇, 好像他不太喜歡貓. 咖啡館有二樓, 所以有很多位置. 他們也有wifi.

This fat orange cat (named Orange) was one of my favorites, and the staff say he’s the friendliest. 我很喜歡這個胖的橘色貓(他的名字是橘子), 店員說他是最親人的貓.

This is the dog. He looks cute and he lets people pet him, but he growled and tried to start fights with the cats several times. They said he was in a bad mood that day. 這是店狗. 他看起來可愛, 也會讓人摸牠, 但是他對貓嗥叫還要跟他們吵架. 店員說他當天心情不好.

There’s a good selection of drinks on the menu as well as desserts and light meal options. I ordered a green tea latte (NT$120) and a beef and cheese quesadilla (NT$140). Both of these were very good. 他們有很多飲料選擇, 還有甜點, 間餐. 我店錄茶拿鐵(NT$120)還有牛肉起司餅(NT$140).

I rarely go to Kaohsiung, but if I do, I’d go back here, and I’m planning on checking out the Tainan branch. 我很少去高雄但是如果我在去, 我會回來這間, 還有我想去他們台南的店.

After running the Kenting Marathon, I went to this cat cafe in Kaohsiung before catching my train. With its cute decorations, reasonable prices and eight adorable cats, it’s definitely worth a visit. When I arrived, there were three cats in the window, and another joined them there later. 我跑完墾丁馬拉松, 我去這間貓咖啡館在高雄. 裝飾很可愛, 東西好吃不貴, 八隻漂亮的貓咪, 我當然會推薦這家. 我來的時候, 窗戶有三隻貓, 以後有四隻.

Other beautiful cats relaxed in other places around the cafe. They’re not at all afraid of people, but not particularly interested in them either.

還有其他可愛的貓咪在休息. 牠們都不認, 但是好像對人沒有興趣.

The walls are decorated with cat puzzles:

The menu has a variety of set meals including sandwiches, pasta and waffles. I had an original waffle and an iced Americano for NT$165. The waffle was delicious and they have lots of flavors to try, although some of them have to be special-ordered the day before, like the caramel and cream cheese that I wanted. 菜單有很多套餐, 有三明治, 義大利麵, 鬆餅. 我吃原味鬆餅, 合冰的美式咖啡, $NT165. 鬆餅很好吃. 他們有很多口味但是有些口味你需要前一天打電話定約.

When I was getting ready to leave, someone brought out a toy for the cats. They were so cute playing with it, I wished I could stay longer, but I had to hurry back to the train station. 我要離開的時候店員給貓玩具玩. 牠們很可愛我想留下來, 但是我要趕快去高鐵站.

I was in Kaohsiung last weekend, so I wondered if there might be any cat cafes there, and there were! There are at least two, Chinlun’s Things and Mona’s Cafe, but I only had time to go to the closest one to the train station, Chinlun’s.

上個週末我在高雄, 所以我找找看高雄有沒有貓咖啡館. 他們到少有兩個, 撥撥橘, Mona’s Cafe. 因為我沒有很多時間我只有去撥撥橘因為離火車站比較近.

It had adorable decorations and sold many cat-themed gifts. The first floor was the cafe and gift shop, and the second floor sold stationery.

店裡的裝潢很可愛. 一樓是咖啡館還有賣貓主題的東西. 二樓在賣文具.

The menu was also very cute. I had an Americano and red bean cake; both were good. 他們的菜單很可愛. 我點美式咖啡, 紅豆蛋糕, 都很好.

But where were the cats? I asked the barista, and she said they stay on the second floor, but are usually sleeping somewhere in the afternoon. I asked the guy at the stationery counter about them, and he said one was asleep very far behind a shelf. I couldn’t see it at all. But…then he said they have a kitten behind the counter!

可是貓在哪裡? 咖啡館員說牠們在二樓, 但是下午牠們平常在睡覺. 我去二樓問文具櫃台員貓咪在哪裡. 他說一隻在睡覺, 在書櫃很後面. 我看不到牠. 然後牠受害有一隻小貓, 在櫃台後面! 超可愛!
