According to the book, this cafe has three cats, two grey marbled tabbies and one orange. But now they just have one grey and one orange. Both of these were friendly and well-cared for. The orange one was sleeping most of the time, but the grey one came to greet me before also settling down for a nap.
Before entering, customers have to take off their shoes. They have slippers to change into, but I just went barefoot as they didn’t look too clean, and I noticed most other people weren’t wearing them either. This cafe also had a bit of a smell, which I really think they should be able to control considering they only have two cats. Mask Cat has three cats and it doesn’t stink at all. The layout is simple, with the whole kitchen out in the open. The refrigerator is covered with cute cat pictures.
They have a wide variety of coffees and a few dessert items. They also sell individual packets of freshly ground coffee for NT$30. I ordered a mocha for NT$130. It was good, standard cafe mocha, and I liked the design on the top of it.
When I left, both of the cats were curled up asleep.
