Zabu: Part 2

CIMG0837 Zabu

Address: 臺北市士林區中山北路7段175號 (No MRT nearby)

Hours: 12:00-23:00

Minimum cost per person: NT$120

Months ago, I went to this cafe’s Shida address as listed in the book and found that it had moved. Since the place it moved to was an hour away by public transportation, I didn’t get around to going there until now. This is another “cafe with a cat” rather than a “cat cafe”. In the book, they had two cats, but they only have one now, and it wasn’t particularly friendly.

CIMG0844The cafe had a nice atmosphere, with a good variety of music and artistic decorations.

Before 5:30, they have the “afternoon tea” special, buy any drink and add a dessert for NT$60. I had an iced americano and pumpkin pie.CIMG0848 It was good, but not really worth going out of the way for.

Susan, I went here just last night – they do have two cats, although the other one just appeared for a second. The tabby you posted let me stroke her once the cafe was more empty. They also have very inexpensive Japanese food, and cocktails.
